A voice server for your community

What it is, what it solves and why your own beats a shared one.

What a voice server is

It is a room where your people talk while they play, without depending on the game shipping voice chat or on that chat working well. They connect with a client, join a channel and talk. Ours is TeamSpeak 3: light, good audio and real permissions.

The one the game ships is not enough

In-game voice works while you are in the match and stops when it ends. You cannot build channels, you cannot leave someone waiting in a room, and if they switch games it is over. Your own server is the meeting point that outlives the match.

Your own, not shared

On a shared server you are one more channel and someone else sets the rules: how many get in, who administrates, when it restarts. With your own you hold the address, the permissions and the channels, and if you need more room tomorrow you move up a tier without moving anyone.

How many slots do I need?

A slot is one person connected at the same time, not a registered account. A group that plays together is usually fine with 10 or 32; a community with several squads should look at 50 slots and up.
